This Morning weatherman predicts exact day we will get snow this year

This Morning's weatherman has predicted the exact day he claims snow will hit the north - and it's earlier than you think.

Meteorological expert Dave made the predictions on This Morning where he joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield billed as the ‘weather guru’.

He says the first glimpses of the white stuff will likely be around October 29.

It's bad news for everyone living in Scotland, as he claims that this autumn is going to be "cold and frosty".

The cold weather warning came as Scotland is to be battered with wind and rain next week after a mild September.

Speaking to This Morning, Dave said: “That is the true Indian Summer around the 18th of October.

“But, and this is the massive but. On the 29, north of Lincolnshire, you will most likely get snow.

“I am very good on snow moons, as you know.”

Scots could also be facing a pretty snowy winter this year. After the predicted autumn chill, there are more weeks of snow on the way as we ever November.

Dave added: “And there's a snow moon on the 29th of October, followed by two more snow moons in the first three weeks of November.

“So it is gonna be bitterly cold and very frosty."

While we might be hanging on to the last of this year's warm weather, October is definitely going to see Scots cranking up the heating to keep cosy indoors.

The weather expert said: “That's bad news for people with gas and electric because your bills are going through the roof.”

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby asked Dave a very to the point question at the end of his forecast. She said: “So you're saying that this winter is going to be long and bitter and cold and wet?”

Dave simply answered: “Yes, yes."
