This Morning viewers have pointed out a 'strange' habit of Craig Doyle's as he hosted the ITV show this week.
The 51-year-old Irish star has fronted the daytime programme every day this week alongside Josie Gibson and Rochelle Humes. During Thursday's instalment of the show, Craig and Rochelle took a look at some school stationary bargains as kids prepare to go back to school in September.
The pair were presented with fancy pencil cases, notebooks and backpacks as they spoke to Holly Smith about the best deals. Craig appeared to be obsessed with one particular blue pencil case and couldn't stop smelling it.
The sniffing continued into Friday's show as Craig was presented with Dami Judi Dench's childhood teddy bear. The actress lent the cuddly toy to her good friend Gyles Brandreth for a new This Morning segment called What's In The Box?
As Gyles handed the teddy over to Craig, the first thing he did was smell it's head. Viewers immediately picked up on it and took to Twitter to comment with one person writing: "Craig just sniffed Judie Dench's bear is not a thought I imagined having when I woke up today #ThisMorning."
Another person posted: "Craig just has to smell everything doesn't he #thismorning," and a third person tweeted: "@thismorning Craig Doyle has a thing about smelling things, apart from smelling school stuff yesterday, today he starts smelling Judy Dench teddy bear...strange. #ThisMorning."
And in reference to Thursday's show, someone else commented: "@thismorning whats with all the smelling of these school items has @CraigDoyle got a smelling fettish, also he nearly destroys the set #ThisMorning bring back a sensible presenter.. (sic)." Craig was also accused of being "tipsy" on Friday's show after he and Rochelle were lucky enough to taste test a variety of delicious wines.
One person tweeted: "Think craig's tipsy #thismorning," while another joked: "Craig’s a bit pished #ThisMorning."
