Holly Willoughby has left This Morning viewers in fits of giggles after a huge dog dragged her off the sofa.
The 40-year-old presenter, and co-host Phillip Schofield were speaking to in-house vet Dr Scott Miller about the launch of the first pet-centric TV channel in the UK, DOGTV.
Phil, Holly and Scott were all cuddling the dogs on set as Holly asked: “Separation anxiety is a real problem for many people and their pets at the moment. Will something like this be the answer?”
At which point the dog she was holding, a red shaggy dog called Ned, became extremely interested in DOGTV playing on the screen opposite, and managed to pull Holly straight off the sofa onto a yellow bean bag on the floor, the Liverpool Echo reports.
She called out: “Ned, Ned, come back.”
But the dog was just too strong for her to hold as Phillip Schofield burst into laughter.
Just as she’d recovered, Ned lunged forwards again dragging her further across the set as she giggled to herself.
Dr Scott Miller described DOGTV as ‘dog Gogglebox’ as Ned got himself comfortable on Holly’s lap, despite being nearly as big as her.
Fans at home were also in hysterics, with one tweeting: “What did I miss? Just seen Holly getting dragged by a fluffy pup on the floor as I walked in.”
Another added: “Sorry Holly but this was phenomenal. Ned just wanted to go for a W or go see his mum."
DOGTV launched in the UK on Monday, and is available to watch on Amazon Firestick, as well as smart TVs, Apple, and Android devices.
The channel is designed to help ease stress, loneliness and separation anxiety in dogs that don’t like being left on their own.
