This Morning viewers in stitches as Gino D'ACampo tries to impersonate Bristol accent

This Morning viewers were in hysterics when Gino D'Acampo tried to impersonate a Bristolian accent.

The 45-year-old Italian chef joined Phillip Schofield and Josie Gibson in the studio to dish out advice to various people watching at home, but it wasn't necessarily good advice.

Father-of-three Gino began by taking issue with Phillip’s description of his attempts as “county caricature”.

The chef said: “Listen, don’t tell me about county caricature, because I'm Italian and all of you caricature against me.

“Now let me caricature against you guys for a change.”

Phillip, 59, then joked that Josie, who is from Bristol, should teach him a bit of the city's accent.

Josie tried out the Bristolian native phrases of ‘alright mucker’ and ‘alright my lover’, which Gino dutifully attempted to copy.

While Josie was in stitches, Phillip was less than impressed, saying: “‘He hasn’t quite got it. He was miles away.”

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
