This Morning viewers were left in stitches today after Alison Hammond revealed she thought 'Trick or Treat' was pronounced 'Treacle Treat'.
At the beginning of the show, hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby unveiled what was coming up during the course of the hit ITV daytime programme.
It was then when they threw to Alison Hammond as she discussed her upcoming Halloween homemade crafts segment and admitted she didn't know the correct pronunciation for the phrase 'Trick or Treat'.

"Obviously we're not going to be 'Treacle Treating' or having parties in our different households so what I've done is I've created an amazing party full of 'Treacle Treats', it's going to be amazing," Alison told viewers.
"Treacle Treat?" a bewildered Phil asked.
"Is is not Treacle Treat?" Alison responded as crew members could be heard laughing.
"Not treacle. Trick or treat," Phil explained.
"No way," a stunned Alison said, adding: "Are you serious? I am 45 years old - I never knew that, I thought it was Treacle Treat."
Both Holly and Phil could be heard hysterically laughing alongside This Morning crew members as Alison made this jaw-dropping revealation.
Alison quipped "I never did Halloween, really."
Holly said: "This is amazing. You're the perfect person to do this segment, then."
This Morning viewers were quick to flock to social media in absolute stitches and they could not contain their laughter.
