This Morning has never shied away from hard-hitting topics, but even the most die-hard viewers may have been stunned by today’s show.
In a segment, This Morning regular Josie Gibson, 35, appeared live from a naturist resort near Liverpool.
The cheeky piece was meant to promote the ongoing competition, with tastefully placed doorframes, tables and chairs to cover the naturist’s more private areas.
However, one shot showed far more than intended when a car door wasn’t quite close enough to cover one man’s genitals.
While the offending article was quickly rectified, host Phillip Schofield was quick to point out the error, shouting: “That was close!
“We were right on the ragged edge there.”
Meanwhile, his co-host Holly Willoughby struggled to hide her giggles at the near-miss.
Elsewhere, Gibson wasn’t afraid to enter into the spirit of things, also choosing to strip naked as she spoke to the naturists with only two cue cards covering her modesty.
A stunned Willoughby asked: “Isn't it a bit chilly for a bit of naturism today? Apparently not!”
Viewers at home were quick to comment at the near miss nudity, taking to Twitter to giggle at the competition segment.
“I am dying at that last competition item and the naturist behind the car door....so close....so close...!” one viewer wrote.
“I am screaming!” added a second.
“The nude guys have made my day,” said a third. “Can’t breathe for laughing.”
It was a particularly raunchy episode of This Morning in general, with Willoughby and Schofield also discussing the rise of OnlyFans, a new social media platform infamous for its explicit content.
And Willoughby couldn’t resist making the cheeky link between the competition segment and the following cooking item, saying: “What better way to follow that than with a cheeky kebab?"
