This Morning viewers fuming as 'cheating' caller wins ITV holiday competition

This Morning fans were left furious after a "cheating" caller won a holiday during the Spin To Win game.

The rules of the game, which gives viewers the opportunity to win a prize, states callers must recite a daily password which is revealed on the This Morning app.

Contestants are automatically out if they say "hello", Daily Star reports.

However, presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield appeared to bend the rules a bit when a caller seemed to say "hello" instead of the password "lime".

Despite the viewer's mix-up, the pair let her play on anyway.

"Yes, that was 'lime' wasn't it?" Phil said.

"Yeah, no, I think you said it. I think you did."

The lucky caller than went on to win a seven-night trip to the Canary Islands, leaving several viewers outraged.

One said: "Really annoyed that I've registered everyday for the spin to win game and the caller today answered with 'hello' and they let her play."

Another fumed: "Farce! They make the rules up. She said 'Hello', then said Lime, Lime, Lime lol. Holly heard it so did millions of your viewers."

Another said: "Not fair all those people who have said 'Hello' and you cut them off , but then give the prize to someone who said 'hello'.

"Out of order I'm afraid. Sure this will cause some problems."
