Line of Duty fans who haven’t had time to watch the finale were faced with an unwanted major spoiler if they tuned into This Morning earlier today.
The ITV breakfast show featured a spoof segment at the start of the programme taking off the BBC drama, which came to a nail biting close on Sunday night.
It saw presenter Rochelle Humes getting made up in her dressing room as she spoke about the dramatic ending of series five which saw corrupt lawyer Gill Biggeloe exposed after trying to frame Superintendent Ted Hastings.

The show then finally revealed the identity of elusive gang member H - or at least, explained it was actually four corrupt officers, not one, with one still active.

Speaking to a crew member, she said: "Oh my goodness did you see Line of Duty last night? I can't believe there's another 'H' out there. I wonder if it's another Irishman in the frame?"
Co-host Eamonn Holmes then was seen popping his head round the door before exclaiming: "Mother of god. Did you ever see so many bent coppers as you did last night? Awful."

Rochelle replied: "Good morning Mr 'H'."
But that wasn’t it for the spoilers - the phone she was holding then came up with the message "urgent exit required", mirroring the way Gill tried to abscond after being outed by DI Kate Fleming and DS Steve Arnott.

Ten million people tuned into the explosive series end, but fans who haven't yet got around to watching it took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
One furious viewer said: "Cheers @thismorning for ruining #LineOfDuty!!!"
A second said: "Nice of #thismorning to give spoilers away in the intro. D***heads.”

A third : "Thanks v. much for putting the f***ing #LineOfDuty spoiler on the screen so that as you're channel hopping you find out the thing you've been trying to avoid until you've caught up.”
But not everyone had sympathy for those who hadn’t seen the show yet.

On fan tweeted: “Cue all the people whinging about #LineofDuty spoilers. You knew it was ending last night, so this morning’s television and social media is probably not the place for you!”
