I'm A Celebritys' Toff banned from Matt Hancock's book launch despite 'warming' to MP

Georgia Toffolo appeared on This Morning earlier today to give her new verdict on Matt Hancock's ongoing stint on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

The one-time winner of the ITV show, 28, appeared on today's edition of This Morning to discuss all things related to the star-studded camp, and admitted she think the former health secretary is 'doing well' amid his ongoing bid to change the public's opinion of him.

But that hasn't stopped Mr Hancock's aides banning the reality TV from the politician's upcoming book launch, as the I'm A Celebrity camper prepares to release his pandemic diaries later this year.

Toff, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2017, even confessed to voting for MP to become leader of the camp as she seemingly changes her tune about Mr Hancock's reality TV venture.

Earlier this month, the former Made in Chelsea star sensationally claimed it was 'disgraceful' Mr Hancock had abandoned his constituents in West Suffolk in favour for an adventure in Australia.

Speaking prior to Mr Hancock appearing on our screens for the first time, Toff said: "What Matt is doing is I think really showing to the country that the man who was meant to be in control of our health going through this pandemic – not only did he cheat on his wife and get caught, he’s now leaving his constituents to go to Australia to earn loads of money in the show."

Catching up with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on the This Morning sofa today, Toff revealed how her critical comments of Mr Hancock has seen her miss out on an invite to a party celebrating the upcoming release of the MP's new book.

"I was walking the dog that night and wouldn't have gone," the reality TV star said as she laughed off the snub on the ITV show earlier today.

Toff also revealed that despite what she has previously said about Mr Hancock, she thinks he's doing 'quite well' so far in the jungle and seemed to have a softer opinion on the former health secretary as he apparently shows viewers his 'human' side.

Viewers watching at home didn't agree with Toff's new views.

"@thismorning Toff just showing how fickle modern humans are. Clever editing & itv attempting to make MH seem 'human'," one angry viewer began on Twitter as This Morning aired. "Don't be so stupid, the scumbag cost thousands of us a chance see our mums & dad's for one last time, people affected do not agree with you at all!!"

"Toff has gone back to liking Matt, for god sake woman! #ThisMorning," another fumed, as a third declared: "No Toff the normal people are not warning to him #ThisMorning #ImACeleb."

Another disappointed tweet reads: "Don't talk wet Toff, it's a f***ing gameshow, that's all #thismorning."

Elsewhere on today's offering from This Morning, former I'm A Celebrity star Olivia Attwood revealed exactly how she would have handled Mr Hancock had she met him in the jungle.

The former Love Island star was forced to quit the ITV show last week, just hours before the MP for West Suffolk made his controversial entrance.

* This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and ITVHub
