This Morning viewers were delighted to see Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan back on the sofa on Friday.
So much so, some fans are calling for them to permanently return to the show, replacing the ITV programme’s regular presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Richard and Judy were full time hosts between 1988 until 2001, and returned to the programme for a stint back last year for the first time in 19 years.
And it seems that they were so popular that show bosses couldn’t wait to invite them back.
Fans were once again delighted to see the pair together again, and called for them to make a more permanent return.
One tweeted: “Unpopular opinion - Richard and Judy are a billion times better than Phillip and Holly.”
A second said: “Is it bad I prefer Richard and Judy to Phil and Holly? Clearly I'm stuck in the nineties.”
A third posted: “Richard and Judy are so much better to watch. No shrieking or childish kids tv approach. Even if disagree with what they say, would rather have them than Phil and Holly.”
“Bring back Richard and Judy permanently - they’re so much better at connecting with real people.”
One viewer went a step further and threatened to petition for Richard and Judy’s return.
“I want Richard and Judy back forever,” they said.
Another agreed: “Ahhh so good to see Richard and Judy! Love them. Can we keep them please so i don't have to sit through the painful and fake Phil and Holly whilst i work.”
And: “Please can we have Richard and Judy every week, so much better, no silly childish giggling.”
