A This Morning star has revealed that no one came to her book launch – including her own family.
Dr Nighat Arif, the show’s resident doctor, released her third book, The Complete Guide to Family Health, earlier in March.
However, she was left disappointed when nobody turned up to the launch event. “It was just me and a pile of books,” she recalled.
“Not even my family showed up, but you know what, I’m not gonna blame them, everyone’s got their own lives to live, and it’s okay.”
She said that a worker at a gym across the road came to the launch and ended up buying a book. “He might not have wanted one, so I’m really sorry if I forced you to get one,” Dr Nighat added.
