ITV's This Morning has been slammed with more than 600 Ofcom complaints following Matt Hancock 's appearance on the show.
It has been reported that a total of 626 people complained about the interview with the former Health Secretary.
He was a guest on the programme on December 7th when host Phillip Schofield asked him if his dyslexia was the reason why he broke covid restrictions.
Matt was speaking about the new bill he is putting forward to Parliament proposing all primary school children are screened for the condition.
But Phillip used this opportunity to ask whether this is why he was caught embracing his colleague Gina Colangelo on video.
He asked: "Was it your dyslexia that meant you misread the social distancing rules?"
Co-star Holly Willoughby visibly found the comment amusing as she sat next to Phillip.
But Matt snapped back: "No, I can’t blame that in dyslexia or on anything else.
"In fact, I’m not asking for any special favours because I’m dyslexic. In politics, I’ve got some things to offer, in that case, that was a mistake and apologised for it.
"It was a failure of leadership, I came on shows like this and asked people to do things and then didn’t follow those rules myself."
Dyslexia is defined as a common learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling.
Many viewers weren't happy at the comments and thought that Phillip was too harsh on the MP, but it's not yet confirmed if Ofcom will be looking into the situation.

Ofcom told Metro : "We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate."
Some viewers branded the discussion as 'unfair' as some children with dyslexia may be watching the show too.
One person tweeted: "I'm unlikely to defend Matt Hancock but I think this is a [very] unfair question which kids with dyslexia will watch and see it as making light of something they struggle with on a daily basis - especially when it comes to others understanding how it impacts them."
Another took to Twitter to say: "Shame on Phillip Schofield for mocking dyslexia, when referring to Matt Hancock breaking social distancing rules. Not at all acceptable."
As a third wrote: "Matt Hancock absolutely should be held to account. BUT when he guested on This Morning to discuss dyslexia, Philip Schofield asked him: 'was it your dyslexia that made you misread the social distancing rules?"
Others called it 'unnecessary' and 'disrespectful': "A totally unnecessary comment! He was there to speak seriously about dyslexia!" as another added: "Say what you like about Matt Hancock but that question was incredibly disrespectful to anyone with dyslexia!"
Matt quit his job as Health Secretary during the summer when a video emerged of him kissing his colleague Gina Coladangelo, who are both married with three children.
It was reported that he ended his 15 year marriage due to the serious nature of his relationship with Gina.
