This Morning's tanning addict floors fans as they spot celebrity lookalike

This Morning fans were floored as they spotted a guest's celebrity lookalike on today's show.

Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary hosted Monday's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme.

The pair interviewed Jimmy Featherstone, a self-confessed tanning addict, who described how he became obsessed with getting the perfect glow when he was aged 15 year's old.

He said: "I started tanning around my mum, she loves her tan as well.

"My mum's very glamorous and I've always had that bond with her - and she actually got me into it."

The 22-year-old spends £1,000 a month on his tanning regimen - and also admitted to using illegal tanning injections.

He said: "The first time I did that I was 18 and I was in bed feeling really poorly."

Dr Sara Kayat appeared on the show and she spoke about the dangers of using unregulated tanning agents.

She said: "These injections are illegal in the UK. Firstly, they have no safety, quality and effectiveness ratings with them so we don't know what the potential side effects could be to your body.

"Secondly, it means because they are unregulated, we don't actually know what else is in them in addition to the advertised tanning agent."

She continued: "There could be other chemicals in that could be causing significant harm.

However, viewers of the show on Twitter were distracted throughout the segment as they thought the guest resembled former X Factor contestant Rylan.

Abi said: "Is it me or does this guy look a little like @Rylan #ThisMorning"

Danny added: "Is this a Rylan tribute act?"

David commented: "Looks like Rylan."

Gemma posted: "Watching @thismorning and this is all I can think of….. if @Rylan and @MarkWright_ had a love child."

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITVHub
