This Morning's Sharon Marshall confirms Hollyoaks death after Toby's violent attack

Hollyoaks will air a brutal death it seems at Scott Drinkwell and Mitchell Deveraux's wedding.

Monday's E4 episode of the soap appeared to show jealous Toby Faroe violently attack his brother Mitchell with a cane, while he was resting under a bed sheet.

But many think he is now dead, or that his cousin Lisa Loveday was the person who was really under the sheet.

While theories are circulating around, This Morning's Sharon Marshall revealed there will be a death after all.

As viewers hoped a death might be a red herring, it's now revealed one character will lose their life.

According to the soap expert, she told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that a wedding death was certain.

She teased: "Well that's the least of their problems, there is gonna be a death as well."

Presenter Holly asked in shock: "At the wedding?"

Sharon then agreed: "Hmm," as if she maybe shouldn't have let it slip, before adding: "If only it was their tailor," after Phillip mocked the men's suits.

In the E4 episode on Monday night, Toby came to blows with his sibling after he told their grandfather Walter about the wedding.

Highly religious Walter is against the ceremony, expressing his homophobic views and vowing to stop it.

Meanwhile as the episode went on, there were flash-forwards to a missing person case being investigated by the police.

A number of characters are interrogated across the week, while the identity of the missing person is not confirmed.

But does it tie in with Toby's savage attack, and could the victim in fact be the missing person?

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode on E4 at 7pm.
