This Morning's Sharon Marshall confirms engagement as she unveils stunning ring

Sharon Marshall has confirmed she is engaged to her partner Paul Fletcher, a year on from the couple welcoming their first child, daughter Betsey.

The This Morning favourite confirmed the amazing news on the show with the help of hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Beaming, she showed off her sparkly engagement ring while her co-stars congratulated her on the celebration.

Sharon has also taken to Twitter seconds earlier to announce her partner had proposed to her over the weekend, leaving her thrilled.

As the show began, Phil and Holly alerted viewers to the news as Sharon revealed what would be included in her soap segment later on.

Phillip suddenly said: "Congratulations as well by the way. Let's have a look at the bling."

Sharon smiled before moving the ring around while Holly squealed.

She then thanked her co-stars, while Holly spoke of the great news to start the show with.

The hosts also couldn't help get a close-up of the ring, with the cameras zooming in on it.

Viewers raced to Twitter to congratulate the star, while several also posted on her own message.

Another tweeted: "Congratulations to you both."

This Morning airs weekdays and Sundays at 10:30am on ITV.
