This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford was quick to recognise a viewer calling into the show on Thursday.
She and co-presenter and husband Eamonn Holmes introduced interior designer Kelly Hoppen onto the show.
Kelly was offering her help to viewers watching at home, who needed advice on how to style a room in their house.
From spacious living rooms, to too much furniture, they called in via video link for advice on how to improve their homes.
One viewer called Martin didn't know what to do with his living and dining area, wanting a feature wall.
Kelly advised him to move some of the decor and shelving across the room, before deciding which wall should be the standout.
It's then that Ruth realised she recognised Martin from somewhere, and knew she had met him before.
It didn't take her long to recall though, as she interrupted the end of the chat to ask him live on the show.
She suddenly started saying: "Martin... Martin, I've just realised," before being cut off.
Trying again, she told him: "I've just realised Martin, you've been into the studio.
"Aren't you Amber's [Gill] friend from Love Island? That's right, I was looking at him thinking I remember him from somewhere."
As Martin confirmed this was the case, she added: "It's nice to see you again, say hi to Amber from us."
Martin appeared on This Morning around a year ago, when his pal appeared on Love Island - showing his support amid her continuous heartache in the villa.
She went on to win the show with Greg O'Shea, but the pair split shortly after.
