Eamonn Holmes better watch out if he ever thinks of leaving wife Ruth Langsford.
The This Morning presenters were discussing reports that Great British Bake Off star Paul Hollywood split with his 24-year-old ex girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam after she refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Now the pair are embroiled in a bitter separation.
Speaking on the ITV daytime show which featured a 'bitter break-ups' phone-in, Eamonn, 59, commented: "The baker, the Great British Bake Off man, Paul Hollywood.
"He's 53-year-old of age and everyone is outraged he's got a girlfriend called Summer, not because she's called Summer, but because she's 24."
The Irish presenter then joked that he might go off with someone younger - which Ruth didn't seem to mind at first.
Addressing his wife of nine years, Eamonn said: "People like you, huffing and puffing, going 'well'. Say I ran off with a 24-year-old?"
To which Ruth jokingly responded: "Take him, seriously, he's yours."
But when Eamonn claimed he would have a "spiteful ex" if he decided to leave Ruth, she didn't disagree and pretty much warned her hubby.
"I would be so spiteful. You wouldn't want me," she said.
Ruth, 59, then asked her husband after watching a segment on cleaning: "When you're thinking of going off with that 24-year-old - could she make a bed? Could she make that hospital corner?"
But Eamonn was quick to praise his other-half - kind of.
He said: "It is a joy to live in a house which is like a 5 star hotel because of you. You're the best chamber maid ever."
Ruth and Eamonn have been a couple since 1997 and in 2002 welcomed their only son together Jack Holmes.
It wasn't until June 2010 the pair married in a stunning ceremony at Elvetham Hall in Hampshire.
