Ruth Langsford called her husband Eamonn Holmes out on Friday's This Morning.
The TV favourites, both 60, shared a moment of tension after Eamonn was gifted a platter of cherries and a note about fruit flies from Love Fresh Cherries.
As he read out the information on fruit flies he then came across a sentence stating that the pesky bugs are indigenous and before Ruth even said anything he decided to mansplain the definition.

Mansplaining is when a male comments or explains something to a woman in a condescending, overconfident, and oversimplified manner.
"Following last Friday's This Morning show with Eamonn and Ruth, Love Fresh Cherries wanted to share some further information on fruit flies," Eamonn started.

Ruth replied: "Oh yes the fruit flies controversy..."
Eamonn continued: "They say the subjects in question, i.e fruit flies, are especially common in summer and autumn months as they are attracted to ripened and fermenting fruits."
He added: "They are commonly indigineous."

Eamonn then told Ruth: "That means they're commonly found throughout the UK."
Ruth fumed in response: "Yes, I know what indigenous means... stop mansplaining."
Eamonn appeared unbothered about offending his wife and did not stop to apologise.
