This Morning’s Rochelle Humes nearly dropped the F-bomb after being scared by Phillip Schofield during the Halloween special.
Humes, dressed in all black with a hit of sparkle, told her co-host that he was “very lucky” she had covered her mouth with her hand to hide any expletives.
After a segment about Haunted Castles presented by Alison Hammond, Schofield said: “It’s funny isn't it when you spend time at this haunted castles and you never really ever seem to find the real ghost…
“I’m just saying. It’s amazing no matter how much time you spend in there, nothing ever happens…” he trailed off before he spooked Humes, making her jump.
The former Saturdays singer screamed and looked close to cursing, before saying: “You are literally so lucky I just put my hand over my mouth, so lucky.
“Right, I didn’t expect it to be you [to scare me].”
Schofield teased Humes about his mischievous behaviour and joked that Holly Willoughby should have “warned” her.
Humes and Schofield, who was dressed as a circus ringmaster, were well and truly in the Halloween spirit as they hosted a spooky edition of the show involving ghosts, ghouls and games.
Rylan Clark-Neal was also dressed up for the occasion, sporting monochrome trousers and a painted face.
