This Morning fans rejoice as the show's legendary presenting duo Richard and Judy are set to make a permanent return to the show.
Yes, the couple who millions of viewers tuned into every days during the 90s and early 00s, will soon be back on the award-winning ITV daytime show on a much more regular basis.
The pair appeared on the show recently for a guest appearance and impressed bosses enough to be asked back on a permanent basis.
Speaking on Wednesday's Lorraine, Richard said: "We just went on about six weeks ago to talk about our book club. Because they had some stand in presenters I got a bit cheeky and I started to nick links.
"Judy jabbed me. The famous Judy jab. She said 'you're not Piers Morgan and I'm not Susanna Reid. I want to speak up now, I want to do some links'."
Revealing that he and wife Judy were then approached by show bosses after their fleeting This Morning appearance, Richard added: "Judy has been saying no to everything on telly for a decade now, she just won't come back to telly, which is her choice.
"And she just went 'yeah OK'. Afterwards I said 'did you just agree to do a telly programme?' She loved it. She had a great time.
"We'll do some more. They've asked us and we need to work it out.
"We're not after anyone's job or anything like that.
"It'll be like having the occasional party. And it won't be a nostalgic-fest looking back. It'll just be a regular show."
Richard and Judy made their This Morning debut in 1988 and hosted the show up until their tearful departure in 2001.
Richard recently made a surprise appearance on Channel 4 reality series The Circle, where he ironically pretended to be a young girl called Judy.
