This Morning's Phillip Schofield says Bros almost got him arrested

If there's one way of getting arrested, blaming Bros isn't one of them.

But that is the case for Phillip Schofield as he claims that bothers Matt and Luke Goss almost got him into trouble with the law.

The This Morning presenter revealed all on Monday's show as the twins joined him and co-host Holly Willoughby on the ITV daytime favourite.

Recalling the 'incident', Schofe told Bros: "You nearly got me arrested at Radio 1.

The 57-year-old then explained: "You blocked the street, the whole street came to a complete standstill and I went out and the Radio 1 team said, 'You've got to go out and try and calm them down, they'll only listen to you.'

"I went out and a policeman went, 'You, in. If you don’t come now, I'm going to arrest you.'"

The singers announced last month that they are set to get a new TV show following the success of their bonkers fly-on-the-wall documentary.

Matt and Luke, 50, will make their telly return with 'A Night In With Bros' which will 'curate an entire evening of programming inspired by their childhood, their musical influences and long careers in and out of the spotlight'.

Bros are back again (ITV)

Their first documentary, Bros: After The Screaming Stops, became the must-see  BBC  show of 2018 thanks to the brother's bizarre and hilarious one-liners that sent Twitter into a frenzy.

It even landed them a Bafta nomination and put them back on the map.
