Phillip Schofield fights back tears in moving scenes during the This Morning festive special, set to air on Christmas Day.
In the pre-recorded episode of the ITV daytime show, his co-host Holly Willoughby surprises him on air with a touching gift.
Holly's gesture leaves him emotional and wiping away the tears, with her desperate to give him a hug - while current coronavirus restrictions means she is unable to do so during filming.
The sweet gesture sees Holly and poet Tom Foolery read out a touching poem for the ITV presenter, and he had no idea it was happening.
Holly had been gifted her own poem by Tom and Phil for her 40th birthday earlier this year, so for Christmas she decided to repay the favour.

The poem says: "For my birthday this year you conspired with Tom, with our poem for Holly’s special day.
"Well in life what goes around always comes back, so now it’s our words headed your way.
"If there’s one thing we know Christmas is for, it’s for telling your loved one we care. And for over a decade we’ve shared so many moments, and from my first day you’ve always been there.

"With his iconic locks, he’s a sauve silver fox, with a voice you could never mistake. From our couch on This Morning , we’ve seen many days dawning, with shenanigans saved for the break.
"No matter who we have on you know the right things to say, you are kind and put people at ease. And though you do make me jump, we always have a good laugh.
"Helped with the naughtiness of Miriam Margolyes, whether it’s our Portuguese gaunts or a bike ride together, you are genuine with candour and wit.
"And from all the times that we’ve played Spin To Win, there’s not much better than a bonus bag of shi-... Schitts Creek we both know has you completely obsessed, and I’m so grateful you came to see my new show.
"Thank you for embracing my sound baths and spirituality, and life’s complete now you’ve met Moira Rose. I can never express to you the difference it made to spend lockdown at work with a best mate.

"We’ve shared book birthdays and three times you’ve welcomed me here, you’ve been there for me through to this date. So as we rap up this rhyme and we wish you a Christmas divine, we have one thing left to say that is true.
"You’ve been a mentor and friend and I hope that won’t end, and all I want for Christmas is that you keep being you!"
As the clip of Holly and Tom sharing the poem comes to an end, the cameras pan back to the studio where a stunned Phil fights back tears.
Both surprised and clearly emotional, he thanks Holly for her kind words as she pulls a face clearly moved by his reaction.
Phil blows a kiss to Holly, who then says: "I really want to hug you right now and I know we can’t… but that’s very true."
Phillip tells her: "Thank you so much. What a lovely present. It’s beautiful, and thank you Tom as well, thank you so much."
This Morning airs on Christmas Day at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
