This Morning's Phillip Schofield almost throws up as he tries horse milk

Phillip Schofield was close to being sick on This Morning today as he drank horse's milk.

On yesterday's show Josie Gibson visited a farm which produces "mare's milk" and viewers saw Josie milk a horse live on air.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were supposed to sample the milk back in the studio, but someone had accidentally tipped it down the sink.

But Phillip was determined to try it, so some was sent over for him to try on today's show.

Phillip confessed he wasn't the biggest milk fan and that he usually drank oat milk.

Holly looked shocked and said: "Then why are you doing this, I said no."

Before he tried it Phillip said that the milk smelled a bit like salmon, and screwed up his face.

Phillip then sipped the milk and said: "I don't like that, its watery, a bit coconutty, it's got an aftertaste."

He then looked like he could gag as the aftertaste continued.

Holly listed the health benefits of the milk, including the possibility it could help treat cancer.

But Phil said: "I don't like it, but that's just me and maybe it's because I'm not a milk fan."

Jenni said: "Crying laughing at Phils face after trying the horse milk."

Emily Benson said: "Omg I've just watched Phillip Schofield drink horse milk, nearly spat out my own drink."

And Lucy said: "Horse milk.. I'm literally heaving."
