Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were left gutted on Wednesday when their plans to match make colleague Alison Hammond with an unsuspecting This Morning viewers were 'wrecked' due to a rather significant detail.
Alison, who now co-hosts the ITV daytime show on a Friday alongside Dermot O'Leary made a rather unexpected appearance on Wednesday to play roving reporter as she appeared live from a secret location to reveal she was off in search of the person selected to play the Dosh on Your Doorstop game.
That person ended up being a very shocked viewer named Callum who was left in a state of shock when he opened the door of his Sheffield home to Alison, saying: "I can't believe it mate," when she asked him how he was feeling.
Sean got a chance to get his head round what was going on as Phillip and Holly cut to an ad break and on returning ready for Callum to try and win the money, Phillip remarked: "She's been chatting to him all through the break. They've been getting on very well."
"Like a house on fire," Holly chipped in.
Phillip then teased: "All set up Alison?" to which she replied: "You know, you've got to get to know your contributors, you know what I mean?"

She then asked Callum: "What's it like when Alison Hammond rocks up at your door?" to which he told her: "Absolutely shocking. My heart is pounding!"
Callum made light work of questions on everything from pastry to the Arctic Monkeys, on his way to winning the £1,000 and he also correctly answered one on who Alison's Friday co-host is.
Reacting to that, Phillip cheekily said: "You obviously watch quite a bit then Callum," only to have any hopes of him and Holly playing Cupid dashed as Callum said he'd use his winnings to put down a deposit on a holiday "for the kids and the missus."
Phillip looked crestfallen at Callum's answer and then when the camera cut back to the studio he said: "Wrecked that then...married," to which Holly replied: "I know. I got quite excited then."
Picking up on the chemistry, a This Morning viewer tweeted: "Can’t we petition for Callum to join Alison on the Friday slot, that was bloody funny. He’s cool"
