This Morning's Phil Vickery pretends to storm off set after 'row' with Eamonn Holmes

Phil Vickery pretended to storm off set on Wednesday's This Morning after a pretend row with Eamonn Holmes.

The TV chef, 59, was doing a cooking segment from a local pumpkin farm where he whipped up some soup.

Even though he was allowed to try some of the soup, Eamonn, 60, put his foot in it and managed to annoy Phil so much that he walked off camera.

He said all soups tasted the same as he compared the pumpkin soup to one made with butternut squash.

"'It tastes like squash?' Have you had squash Eamonn?" a fuming Phil said.

Eamonn said he was talking about "orange squash", to which Phil replied: "I knew when I said that it was a waste of time."

Turning to his wife Ruth Langsford, Eamonn said: "You know when you look at a menu in a restaurant and you think, 'I don't think I'll like that' basically all soups taste the same."

Ruth told him: "What are you talking about? How can mushroom soup taste like pumpkin soup?"

"Put a bit of pepper on it and it all tastes the same," he said.

Ruth then decided to apologise on her husband's behalf, saying: "Phil I'm so sorry, the man's a philistine what can I say."

But Phil had already walked away, jokingly storming off in response to Eamonn's comments.

He later returned to cook up a tasty pumpkin risotto for Ruth and Eamonn, showing there was no hard feelings.

Phil said: "It's a very simple dish of rice, a bit of wine, stock and roasted pumpkin.

"But you know me I'll finish with a bit of a twist. Nice fresh sage, dead simple, nice and tasty."
