Phil Schofield desperately screams warning at Josie Gibson as she dashes into the sea

This Morning presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were tearing their hair out on Thursday's show as they desperately shouted a warning at Josie Gibson.

Josie was speaking to the hosts live from a beach with a woman who said she went to school with Phillip.

She ran into the sea with the hardy swimmers on the beach, but forgot one crucial thing which could be very dangerous.

The former Big Brother star still had her microphone on and Phil and Holly shouted: "Your mic! Take your mic off!"

Josie was her usual energetic self as she filmed a live link from Summerleaze beach in Cornwall, chatting to the locals.

Pauline from the Bude Open Water Swimmers spoke to Josie about her hobby of swimming outdoors no matter what the weather.

"It's good for you mental health, its good for your physical health, you just feel so much better once you're in the water, it's marvellous.

"Just get in there and make the most of the moment, just enjoy the moment," encouraged Pauline, and Josie heeded her advice.

"Let's go! Oh my shoes!" cried Josie as she ran with the group towards the sea, flinging her shoes off.

"Your mic! What about your mic? Take your mic off!" shouted Phil as Josie desperately tried to untangle her mic and remove it.

"Take your kit off!" he added, before collapsing into giggles at what he had said.

"No no! Oh that's going to be expensive."

Pauline also revealed she went to school with Phillip in Newquay but when Josie asked her to spill secrets from his youth she refused saying she did not want to "get anyone in trouble".

One viewer tweeted: "That mic will get wet lol, oh Josie. #ThisMorning ".

"Your microphone Josie" wrote another, alongside a laughing face emoji.

"That’s not what the coastguard & RNLI are advocating Josie love," added a third.
