This Morning's Josie Gibson makes 'mortifying' age admission to new co-host Andi Peters

Josie Gibson had a 'mortifying' moment of realisation as Andi Peters joined her to host This Morning on Friday, with the popular presenter telling her new co-star that she 'looked older than him' despite being over a decade younger

With Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby still on their Christmas break, there have been a number of different presenter partnerships at the helm of the ITV daytime show over the last few weeks. Usual Friday double act Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were first to step up to the plate, with them on hosting duties for all of last week.

Ex Big Brother winner Josie has been doing the honours since Monday of this week, with her hosting alongside Craig Doyle for four days in a row, before he bid farewell at the end of Thursday's episode to head back home to Ireland for Christmas.

Former Live and Kicking star Andi, 52, came into replace Craig for the final This Morning of the week and, it didn't take long for Josie to make an observation about how they would look on screen together. She began: "Andi, it is so surreal for me to be sat with you here today, as I used to run home and watch you, No-one was allowed to swit5ch on the Sega Megadrive until I'd watched Andi Peters!"

The 37-year-old continued: "And now, I'm sat with him today, but the weirdest thing is, I look older than you." Quick to reassure her that she didn't, Andi shot back: "Don't be so ridiculous! You look amazing, you've done an amazing job all week and I love watching you. I'm glad to be sitting next to you."
