This Morning's Josie Gibson cries as she shares 'dream' Lapland trip with rarely seen son

Josie Gibson cried on This Morning as she recalled a magical trip to Lapland with her son.

The TV presenter rarely posts about her son Reggie, but he starred alongside her in a sweet segment on the ITV show today, as host Josie went on the trip of a lifetime to Lapland with her young son. As she watched the video from the studio, Josie was in tears as she recalled the special trip they shared together to mark the festive season.

The pair headed to Lapland on the hunt for Santa, and Reggie was left overjoyed when he spotted a reindeer.

In the sweet scenes, Josie asked her son what he wanted from Santa, and he requested a "silly sausage" and a "pig". He was so excited to be in Lapland and marvelled as he was pulled along on a sleigh with his mum holding him.

The pair explored the beautiful and snowy scenery whilst being pulled along by two reindeers, one of which Reggie had called Rudolph. There was much excitement from the four-year old as he noticed a cabin in the woods belonging to Santa himself.

A third shared: "Reggie is adorable #ThisMorning," as a fourth wrote: "Aw Josie and Reggie are so cute #ThisMorning."

"Howling at Josie and Reggie in #ThisMorning Christmas is so magical for kids," a fifth added.

Josie previously revealed to The Mirror how she juggles work with looking after her son Reggie.

"My weekend starts with cuddles with my son Reggie. If I’ve got energy after working I’ll cook a meal, but we love going to David Lloyd for some food – it’s walking distance from our house. Then we’ll lie on the sofa, watch a film and snuggle," she said.

"Reggie is only three so I never get a lie-in – not even on weekends. We’re always up early but we just like to chill at the weekends. It’s Reggie time – we do whatever he wants to do, which usually includes eating out! We live in Bristol but we love going out in Bath and we always have a roast dinner on a Sunday. We tend to go out for it, but I do cook a very good roast dinner."
