This Morning viewers were told of one common item they should never put in the fridge during Tuesday's show.
Celebrity chef James Martin was baking a classic Victoria sponge, which presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were lucky enough to sample.
He began by beating a quantity of butter with an electric mixer.

Holly enquired whether it should be salted or unsalted, with the chef replying: "It doesn't matter".
James made a second cake, using duck eggs, which he recommends "if you can get them".
He said: "They're quite unusual, they're almost see-through, like porous... well, all eggs are porous that's why you never put eggs in the fridge."
Noticing Holly's curiosity, he continued: "They absorb all the flavours from the fridge.
"For instance, in the restaurant we use fresh truffles. If you put that in a bowl with rice, eggs on top and then cling film, put it in the fridge overnight.
"When you break the eggs in the morning for breakfast, truffle scrambled eggs. There's no truffle in it, the truffle flavour has gone through the egg, into the egg itself."
An astounded Holly said: "Oh my god, that's amazing."
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and the ITV Hub.
