This Morning 's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were joined by chef James Martin on Monday's show - but it was marred by disaster.
The entire show battled various different technical issues, but James' gaffe was certainly the messiest.
As he cooked his winter soup and cheese straws, he put some of the ingredients together into a blender.
But he forgot one crucial thing - to put the lid of the blender on securely.
James' winter soup had already boiled over in the pan and was leaking everywhere, with James wondering if there was even "any left".
"That goes in there, lid on, blend," James narrated, before turning on the blender and watching blankly as the liquid sprayed out of the machine and all over the countertops.
"Woah!" he remarked as he was covered in the food.
"And it just so happens, I've got one underneath here!" he added, reaching down under the countertop and pulling out a pre-made version.
"You're having a really good day aren't you? Oh James!" laughed Holly as she and Phil completely collapsed into giggles.
James panicked: "This is what happens, when you're used to doing the Saturday show, you're used to chilling out at home, you get as much time as you want.
"What I've got is a director on my ear telling me that I've got seven minutes, then I've got six minutes, now I've got five minutes!"
One viewer tweeted: "During the first lockdown we had John Torode setting a tea towel on fire and during the second lockdown we’ve had James Martin failing to put a lid on a blender properly with soup going everywhere #ThisMorning ".
Another giggled: " @thismorning oh that blender moment was fabulous. @Schofe and @hollywills how do you make that soup and cheese straws? I got lost. #thismorning.".
"Oh dear. Every chef knows not to have a closed lid with hot liquid in a blender. #thismorning," scolded another.
"Haunted Lights...Haunted Blender....is it christmas or halloween?? #thismorning," wondered a third.
Not only that, but soap expert Sharon Marshall visited Corrie star Bill Roache, but her interview was cut short by the hosts because the camera kept cutting out and glitching.
And earlier on in the show, Holly, Phil and their guest Matthew Wright were forced to hurry into a different part of the studio because a huge stage light above them was rattling alarmingly loud and appeared as though it might be close to falling down.
