This Morning's Holly Willoughby "utterly jealous" at Sunderland influencer's 'essential' Dubai trip

This Morning host Holly Willoughby confessed she was "utterly jealous" of a Sunderland-based influencer's trip to Dubai as she took aim at her 'essential' reasons for going.

Personal trainer Sheridan Mordew, 24, who runs Wearside-based business Shape Up With Sher, jetted off to the UAE in January, when many parts of the UK were in tier 4, with strict guidelines on overseas travel.

Like other influencers like Geordie Shore, TOWIE and Love Island stars, Sheridan saw an opportunity to fly for work, running online PT sessions from her apartment in Dubai.

But she has also posted numerous non-work related pictures on her Instagram feed, including snaps of her sipping cocktails by the swimming pool and even riding on a camel.

Sheridan, who hails from Hebburn, faced a grilling from Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield when she appeared on This Morning via video link on Tuesday and after quizzing her on what made her trip to Dubai essential, Holly admitted she was envious of her being there.

After Sheridan told the presenting pair her job was "to motivate people," Holly fired back: "Those images don't motivate me, they make me utterly jealous!

"I'm just so jealous. I want to feel the sun on my skin, that's all I want! I would love nothing more."

Sheridan Mordew claims it was 'essential' for her to fly to Dubai to escape lockdown due to her work as a PT

Referencing the clip of Sheridan on a camel, Phillip remarked: "What you posted that was essential?" to which she replied: "In a world where you can be anything, be kind and I think a lot of people forget about that.

Holly responded: "When you say 'be kind,' when you see how stressed the NHS is and those nurses who are working really, really hard and all they are saying is 'please stay at home, do the right thing' and you're saying 'be kind'....are you being kind to them for encouraging others to travel for what you deem essential work?

She responded: "It's not that I' necessarily trying to influence anyone to come out, I'm just doing my thing. If anything I'm getting people motivated in the house.

Having the final word, Phillip told her: Well done, you dodged it, you got out.

"Look, the reason we're having this conversation is human nature. We're dripping with envy."
