This Morning host Holly Willoughby was missing in action on Monday as she was due to return to present the show after a Christmas break.
The popular star was set to be back alongside ITV partner in crime Phillip Schofield after last being live in the studio in the middle of December.
But as Lorraine Kelly crossed from her show to This Morning to get a teaser of what was coming up, it wasn't Phillip and Holly who greeted her but Phillip and stand-in host Rochelle Humes.
And then as camera rolled on the first edition of 2021, Phillip and Rochelle explained that Holly was absent because she was "spending a few extra days with family."
But viewers, who were looking forward to seeing Holly and Phillip back together for the first time in a while were both disappointed and concerned.
Taking to Twitter, one posted: "‘When you’ve been looking forward to seeing Holly and Phil back on This Morning after Christmas, turn it on and Holly is no where to be seen’"
Voicing their concerns, another tweeted: "My only question tuning into @thismorning where's holly?" and, asking exactly the same question, another reacted: "Where is Holly????!!!"
Holly's no show came nearly two months after another unexpected absence sparked concern from fans, when she was missing for a few days in a row and replaced by both Alison Hammond and Davina McCall.
