This Morning's Holly Willoughby earns more than Phillip Schofield for first time ever

Holly Willoughby has earned more than Phillip Schofield for the first time ever, having banked over £1million in the past 12 months.

While the two have been presenting both This Morning and Dancing on Ice together for many years now, Phillip has been the one who has pulled in the most money.

But that's all changed this year as Holly made up to £1,373,694 in the year up to February 2021, with Phillip’s earnings came in at around £789,542 in the same period.

The Sun reports that Holly earns around £600,000 a year for presenting This Morning and Dancing on Ice as well as multiple ad deals with brands like Dunelm and M&S.

Holly has also just released her 'life lessons' book Reflections and also made the switch to BBC to host Take Off alongside Bradley Walsh.

The news of Holly's bumper earnings comes as it's being reported that she is set to stay on This Morning until 2023, despite co-stars apparently being desperate to take her job.

One insider said: "It seems like everybody wants that gig but Holly is very much secured for the next two years on a rolling contract."

The mum-of-three took over on This Morning from Fern Britton in 2009 and by the end of her current deal will have hosted for 14 years.

On Wednesday, host Holly promoted a shopping frenzy over the sparkly red dress she wore to front the ITV show.

As viewers clamoured for details on the show-stopping gown, the brand responsible - Needle and Thread - revealed it carried a rather hefty price tag of £435.
