This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield slammed over treatment of guest

This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have been criticised for how they treated a guest on Tuesday's show.

The episode saw the daytime hosts speak with a demonologist, but they were slammed on Twitter for their "rude" and "sarky" behaviour.

Kelly Angel previously left her job at Gregg's to pursue a career studying demons after realising that she had a special gift at a young age.

She went on to explain that everybody is allocated a guardian angel at birth, who remains with them until they die.

Holly and Phillip looked on in disbelief as the woman described details of her job but, as reported by Birmingham Live, some social media users believed the pair treated her poorly.

One person tweeted: "I don't believe a word she says but if she does, let her carry on.

"Phil's sarky tone and looks are so rude. "

A second wrote: "Is there a serious side to this Philip says... she’s been serious since you started interviewing her but you both keep giggling #ThisMorning"

"Stop taking the p*** out of this woman by letting her continue to lie to herself and others. #ThisMorning", said a third.

Another questioned: "Professional Demonologist? Why do you give airtime to this nonsense?”

ITV This Morning continues to air each and every weekday from 10am until noon on ITV 1 and also on the ITV Hub with episodes also available to catch up with after they have been broadcast via the aforementioned on demand platform and catch up service.
