This Morning's Holly and Phil forced to apologise as viewer 'drops f-bomb' on air

This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left apologising during the latest round of Spin To Win.

A viewer appeared to drop the f-bomb live on air after making a mistake in the live competition on the show - while it was later realised this was not technically the case.

Holly and Phil weren't having much luck, as no one seemed to answer their phone.

When one viewer finally did answer the call, they didn't follow the rules and was told to hang up the phone.

Viewers aren't allowed to say "hello" and must answer with the correct password to play the game.

But one viewer didn't follow this rule, so wasn't able to play.

As Holly scolded them over not listening, they were heard "swearing" leaving the hosts stunned.

The viewer sounded like she said as the phone call was about to end: "Oh f***ing hell."

On listening back, she actually said "bloody hell", but it wasn't entirely clear to the presenters.

Phillip and Holly immediately gasped, a little red-faced over the incident.

Phil apologised to viewers watching at home, before urging others calling in to not swear.

He said: "Oh... so sorry for if she swore there," with Holly echoing the same comments before laughing.

As Holly struggled to contain her laughter, Phil confessed he'd have said the same thing.

Viewers appeared to miss the moment, asking on Twitter what was actually said.

Phillip and Holly were convinced she had sworn, given the apology and the constant reminders not to swear.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
