This Morning's Holly and Phil cheat Spin To Win for couple on wedding day

This Morning hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby cheated on today's Spin To Win so a couple could win on their wedding day.

The two hosts did all they could to ensure that couple Kerry and Steve won the top prize of £2,000 as it was the pair's wedding day.

After Philip span the spinning wheel, Holly said: "Come on Wheel, give us some cash! I'm sending good vibes."

Philip added: "It's going to be a good one, I know it."

Holly chanted: "Power, good vibes, wedding vibes, true love."

"I'm telling you right now, it's going to be a good one," added Philip.

The wheel tilted from the highest prize to the lower £500 amount and looked set to land on it until Philip pulled it back so it landed on £2,000.

"That's amazing! I've never seen it do that before," joked Philip.

Holly praised the "good vibes" and asked Kerry and Steve from the West Midlands to have "the best day".

It isn't the first time that the TV favourites have influenced the result of the TV game, with Philip previously fixing the result of one instalment to help out a caller struggling in lockdown.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their views of the game.

One viewer tweeted: "I'm so happy that someone who is #shielding has won spin to win and genuinely sounded happy. Shielding is really tough. #ThisMorning ".

Another added: "Well done @Schofe always #BeKind well deserved congratulations to you both #wedding #minimoon ".

Meanwhile, a different Twitter user complained: "Been playing Spin to Win on #ThisMorning for seven months now.... clearly I need a sob story so that they’ll cheat and gift me £2k".

A different viewer commented:" #ThisMorning what was the point in playing Spin To Win??? Obviously Phil rigged it AGAIN..."

Finally, one person concluded: "Wow, so many salty people on Twitter when it comes to Spin to Win.

"How about just be happy for the person who wins rather than being toxic towards them?

"I'm sure you wouldn't complain if TM upped the prize money if you won! #ThisMorning".

This Morning continues on weekday mornings at 10am on ITV.
