Eamonn Holmes found himself in hot water after an awkward comment made towards a guest on today's episode of This Morning.
The Northern Irish presenter is currently hosting ITV's flagship daytime programme alongside his wife Ruth Langsford.
A segment on Tuesday's edition explored the impact of cosmetic surgery and investigated whether people are taking it too far.

Dr Steven Harris was concerned that people are getting so much fillers and implants that they are developing 'alien-like features.'
HIs claims were disputed by Anastasia, who was an advocate of people getting plastic surgery as 'perfecting their bodies.'
The 32-year-old from Kiev said she was happy with her procedure as she used to look like a hamster, but host Eamonn Holmes misheard her comments.
He said: "So you like to look like a hamster?"
The guest shot back: "No, I was like a hamster."
Ruth then jumped in to clarify the situation: "You wanted your cheeks higher up and more defined."
Fans took to Twitter in hysterics at the 'awkward' exchange.
One user said: "Eamonn!!! You are so awkward "So you like looking like a hamster?" and we can hear in the back Ruth saying "no no""
Another added: “You like to look like a hamster?” I love Eamonn."
A third commented: “You like to look like a hamster…” Eamonn just put his foot in it."
