Eamonn Holmes has revealed his phobia for a gross habit on This Morning.
The presenter was hosting the show with Rochelle Humes on Bank Holiday Monday after stepping in to replace Alison Hammond while she is off sick.
The pair were teasing an appearance by therapists and life coaches Nik Speakman and Eva Speakman for later in the show when they began discussing their own phobias.
Eamonn then asked Rochelle: “We were talking about the ick. What gives you the ick?”
As Rochelle contemplated, Eamonn said: “Do you know what does it for me?
“Do you ever talk to people and they’ve got not only plaque on their teeth, but soft plaque.
“Like sort of like white bread.”

Eva Speakman was seen cringing at the discussion, prompting Eamonn to turn and say: “It’s not me!”
Rochelle was confused and asked: “Do you mean the white that comes at the side?”
“No, no, no. I mean the white around their gums. You think, have you got no mirrors in your house? Can you not see this?”
Rochelle laughed as Eamonn went on: “Then they usually have partners who they kiss for instance and then they go down in my estimations, because how could you…?”

In response, Rochelle commented that she would not be able to keep that to herself if her partner had that, saying she is quite “vocal” with her husband Marvin Humes.
Later, Eamonn joked that he had a phobia of feet and dislikes getting feet images, teasing how he gets shots of Ruth Langsford's feet on social media as she watches him and Rochelle working.

Naturally, viewers at home were both amused and equally disgusted by the discussion of plaque from Eamonm.
One viewer penned: ""I dont like soft plaque on people's teeth, you know the white stuff just here" *points to teeth* ....... Eamonn, you make me laugh. #ThisMorning ".
Meanwhile, another viewer added:"Yellow plaque omg disgusting #thismorning ".
*This Morning airs on weekdays from 10am to 12.30pm on ITV with past episodes available on ITV Hub.
