This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes left Rochelle Humes flustered with a joke about her pregnancy, as his co-host announced she was expecting her third child with husband Marvin.
The Humes revealed their good news to the world on Instagram on Easter Sunday and former Saturdays singer Rochelle appeared on This Morning via video link to speak Eamonn and wife Ruth Langsford as they take over from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby to front the ITV show over the Easter break.
After telling Rochelle: "Thank you for letting me be the first to know; Eamonn cracked a joke that came from nowhere, when he asked Rochelle: "Who's the daddy?!" leaving her speechless before she answered: "Well...that's the million dollar question...who knows?" as Ruth giggled in the studio.
Rochelle added: "If our hands weren't full already, they're about to even fuller! But yeah, we're so thrilled. It's nice news in this weird time at the minute. Weird to share it with our friendlys and family via FaceTime and stuff but so lovely."
This Morning viewers were quick to react to Eamonn's comment, with one tweeting: "I can’t decide if eamonn Holmes is funny or just annoying," and another reacting: "What a nightmare lockdown and Eamonn Holmes on this morning. Will the horror ever end!"
But another viewer loved the interview, tweeting: "Oh My Goodness. I've just seen the interview with Rochelle and Eamonn, how adorable and loving was this piece! It was like watching a very proud father. Congratulations to Rochelle and Marvin."
