The founder of Facebook's largest ever money saving group joined presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in the studio to share a whole host of freebies that you can take advantage of.

Use apps to get money off

The Coupon Queen shared how using apps such as Shopmium, CheckoutSmart, Green Jinn and Clicksnap can help get you up to £30 worth of groceries for free.

To get the freebies she says: "You download the apps on your phone, then you select a supermarket you are going to be shopping at and it will bring up a list of all the discounts and things you can get for free.

You then go to the shops, purchase the items you want - when you get home you take a picture of your receipt to prove you purchased the item, and then you get a rebate into your bank account.

This week's top deals included items such as multi-packs of Aqua Libra Sparkling Water and they do update weekly.

How to get free cinema trips

And using apps to get money off your groceries was not the only freebies she shared, as the bargain hunter shares how families can head to the cinema for free.

She said: "If you want to go to the cinema for free, there is a company that is called See It First. They give you free preview tickets to see the latest movies before they are actually released for the public".

The company works with all cinemas across the UK and movie-lovers can head over to their website using the code 'Cinema' to sign up'. Once you have signed up, the company will let you know when there is a screening near you.

All viewers have to do is give their feedback at the end of the film. Holly adds that movie-goer's simply need to write a few lines about the film and give it a rating.

Free Lego magazine

Everyone knows that Lego is one of the most beloved franchises for children, which is why it is good news that parents can get their kids a free magazine in the post.

Holly explains: "Lego has a free subscription. This is for children between the ages of five and eleven. As a parent all you have to do is register your card over on the Lego website and they will get a magazine through the post every single quarter, and they are on-par with the ones you buy in the supermarket that are about £3 - £4."

Free kids activity packs

The money-saver explained that parents can also get their kids a free activity pack from Little Dish. All parents need to do is head over to the website and request a free pack.

Holly says: "This is delivered by post and contains loads of activity sheets that teach your children about healthy eating - which is great".

Free Clarins beauty treatments

Everyone loves a good beauty treatment, which is why Holly shared one hack that she says "not a lot of people know about".

The bargain hunter explains how Clarins counters can offer free express beauty treatments - but you have to book them in advance.

She said: "You have to head over to the Clarins website, select the location you want to go to, there's ten treatments to choose from, including mini-facials and hand massages. Each treatment is 100% free, no purchase necessary".

When we checked their website, there is express treatments available in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
