Phillip Schofield was left stunned on Tuesday's This Morning when an outspoken guest made a dig about his private life.
Phillip publicly came out in February with a lengthy Instagram post which he followed up with a live interview anchored by his This Morning co-host and close friend Holly Willoughby.
And his private life was unexpectedly made the subject of a quip from a guest on Tuesday's show - self proclaimed Cougar Gran, who was quizzed by Phillip and Holly about her life in lockdown and what it's been like without her male companions.
She claimed she has 200 toy boys and then told the presenting pair: "I've done okay during lockdown and I've been a well-behaved adult.
"But it's ridiculous trying to police illegal sex.
"I can't do it much longer, I'm at the point of no return now. Even politicians have started to look good."
Addressing Holly, Cougar Gran then said: "For the married couples like yourself, and I don't know what Phil is up to, but anyway people are doing all sorts of things."
Phillip looked a little startled by her remark and she sparked quite a reaction on social media as viewers at home couldn't quite believe what they were watching.
