In events that have shocked the country and the world, George Floyd, 46, died after being stopped by police outside a shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on May 25.

Shocking footage of the arrest shows white police officer Derek Chauvin, who has since been charged with murder, kneeling on Mr Floyd's neck as he begs to be allowed to breathe.

Let's be honest, this has been going on forever, our whole lives to my mum, my father."

Going onto discuss Black Lives Matter, Alison added: "Black Lives Matter is so important and it's amazing to see my white and Asian brothers and sisters standing with Black Lives Matter, because it means they understand.

"They can't understand fully, but they understand what we are going through."
