This Morning's Alison Hammond pleads 'take the camera off me' as ITV show descends into chaos

Alison Hammond shouted "Take the camera off me" on this week's final episode of This Morning after an attack of Hay Fever.

The Great British Bake Off host presented alongside Dermot O'Leary on June 30, but told This Morning bosses not to film her at one part of the show, Birmingham Live reports. Dermot had leaned over to grab Alison a tissue, and the Birmingham-born mum-of-one had to reapply her make-up live on air.

In a chat with Dr Megan Rossi, Alison asked if her hay fever was linked to her gut health, to which Dr Rossi replied that there is a connection.

Alison admitted to feeling embarrassed as she blew her nose and asked the production crew not to put the camera on her. She said that she woke up and instantly felt different, and told fans: "You know, hay fever, runny eyes, the nose thing, I don't feel too well."

In March, Alison spoke about having the seasonal condition and said: "Argh, hay fever kicks in today, is anyone else at home feeling that hay fever fire? I think it's tree pollen – apparently, so yeah, I've got a lot of hay fever going on but we're going to get through this together."
