TV presenter Alison Hammond has told how the This Morning stars 'don't all hang out' after work despite appearing a close-knit 'family' on the daytime show.
The 46-year, who shot to fame after appearing on reality show Big Brother in 2002, admitted during an interview that although the stars all get on well during the show they are happy to head home after filming.
Speaking to New Magazine asked if they hang out, she admitted: "We don't to be honest. We've all got our private lives. We see each other at work, and that's lovely, but with Covid things have changed."
Alison has known current co-star Dermott O'Leary for more than a decade after their paths crossed when the former fronted spin off Big Brother's Little Brother and the pair formed a great bond.
And This Morning presenter Alison said setting up their current presenting roles together felt like an ''arranged marriage''.
She told The List: "I call Dermot my work husband because it was like an arranged marriage. Because of Covid, there were no screen tests. No lunch. Nothing. We literally did a Zoom and we couldn’t even get that right. I was waiting for half an hour and he wasn’t there and he was waiting on a different Zoom! Then we spoke on the phone briefly and it was just, 'OK, I’ll see you on Friday then.'"
Meanwhile, Alison has been dealing with profound loss of her mum to cancer last year and admits she's struggled.

She told New: "Sometimes I can't believe she's gone and I pretend that she's still here."
She praised her late mum for sharing valuable life lesson telling her to 'love herself' and 'not to compare yourself to anyone else', advice which Alison has passed on to her own 16-year-old son.
She says her parenting is 'nurturing' but wants Adian to find his own way in life and not ride on the back of her success.
But for now at least, Adian doesn't appear phased by his mum's celeb 'status' and doesn't think she's cool!
