Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby are showing the world how powerful women lift each other up as they congratulated each other on being nominated for the Best Presenter award at the upcoming 2021 National Television Awards.
The public-voted awards were delayed earlier this year to take place next month, with nominations for all categories unveiled on Tuesday.
And fans of This Morning were thrilled to see 46-year-old Alison and 40-year-old Holly both nominated for Best Presenter gong.
Taking to Instagram amid the aftermath of the shortlist reveal, Alison and Holly praised each other for their nominations.
Alison shared a snap of herself beaming alongside Holly in a sun-kissed photo shared on Instagram Stories – adding the caption: “can’t think of anyone I’d rather lose to that you @hollywilloughby.”

And Holly re-grammed the same image, adding a caption of her own that simply read: “Same” alongside heart emojis.
This Morning Editor and top dog Martin Frizell heaped praise on the two female presenters.
The 62-year-old – who is married to TV’s Fiona Phillips – gushed about Holly and Alison’s nomination on Instagram: “It’s like choosing your favourite child !!!

“Both brilliant broadcasters are on the short list today for NTA Presenter of the Year and This Morning is nominated again in Daytime.
“The National TV Awards are the biggest accolades of the year, voted for by viewers not judges and so mean the most to us.”
He begged fans to vote for the female stars, writing: “If you have a. moment you can cast a vote through my bio link.”

He also teased: “There is an option to this dilemma of Holly or Alison - Piers is also shortlisted !!!!!!! It’s going to be some night.”
The celebrations might be something of a kick in the teeth for long-running This Morning host Phillip Schofield – who completely failed to get nominated this year.
The 59-year-old host is traditionally nominated alongside Holly in the Best Presenter category, but was noticeably cut from the 2021 nominations list.
Phil has been in the running every year since 2018, but is not present in the shortlist for the upcoming awards – which were delayed from their traditional January date due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
It comes after the TV host dramatically came out on TV at the beginning of last year – with co-host Holly at his side on This Morning as he discussed his sexuality and life history.
Holly and Alison face stiff competition from veteran TV hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly who are also in the running for the Best Presenter gong.

Ant and Dec have been nominated for the past 20 years running – and have scooped the prize every single time.
The last person to win the award that wasn’t Ant and Dec was Michael Barrymore at the 2000 awards.
The 2021 National Television Awards, hosted by Joel Dommett, will take place on Thursday 9 September 2021, with the awards filmed at London’s O2 Arena.
