Josie Gibson, the This Morning presenter, has revealed that she faced a terrifying cancer scare two years ago.
The television star opened up about her experience, which took place back in 2023, in which she was “frightened” to find a lump “protruding” from her breast and the shape of it changing.
Gibson, 40, became a household name after starring in the 2010 series of Big Brother and has subsequently built a career for herself on the small screen.
After discovering the lump, Gibson immediately sought medical attention and found that the lump was connected to one of her breast implants.
The mother-of-one subsequently had both lumps removed.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Gibson disclosed: "I had a big lump underneath my left boob and I was getting really worried about it.
"You could actually see it protruding. You could see the breast had changed shape, so I was getting a little bit frightened.
"So I went to my GP and he had a feel around. it was my breast implant. I went and I had them out and, for me, it was one of the best things I've done."
Gibson underwent breast enhancement surgery in 2013, increasing her cup size from a B to a DD.
Since having the lumps removed, Gibson says she now has “peace of mind”.

Going through the experience motivated Gibson to partner with Tombola Bingo and charity Breast Cancer Now on their “eyes down, check up” initiative.
She explained: "We only ever talk about breast cancer when something bad happens. Let's make it part of the conversation."
Gibson is currently living in a caravan whilst her £1 million property near Bath undergoes renovations.
She revealed that the renovation process has been so stressful that she is turning grey, adding: "Basically, I've just made my life a lot more stressful. Put it this way, I've been dying my hair."
