This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield said to have 'moved out of £2M marital home'

Popular This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield is believed to have moved out of the £2million mansion he lived in with his wife, according to reports.

The 58-year-old TV presenter, who came out as gay live on This Morning in February, is believed to have moved out of the London property he shared with his wife Stephanie Lowe before the coronavirus lockdown.

It is thought he has instead taken residence in a central London apartment with views of the Shard, The Mirror reports.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: "There has been talk for weeks that Phillip isn't living with Steph any more, that he had moved out for good and had a new home. He has a place in central London.

"It's not as big but it's the beginning of a new life for him. It very much also seems as though their marriage could well be over."

Phillip and co-presenter Holly have been presenting ITV's award-winning This Morning show during lockdown while practising social distancing.

Since coming out, Phillip has thanked his "amazing" wife and family, saying his marriage was a happy one.

He told The Sun at the time: “You never know what is going on in someone’s head when they you think they are leading the perfect life. And I was. But then it was there.

“I was confused by what it was. I thought maybe I was bisexual.

“But over time I realised and started coming to terms with it, and I realised I had to be honest with myself.”
