This Morning has been praised for brightening up the studio amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Phillp Schofield and Holly Willoughby revealed on yesterday's show they were changing the studio backdrop on This Morning at the Television Centre in a bid to lift spirits.
The studio windows were switched from a cold winter's morning to a bright and sunny July day, complete with blue skies and trees abundant with gorgeous green leaves.
Phil and Holly said they hoped it cheered viewers up and promised to keep the backdrop like that until the Covid-19 crisis is over.
Phil said: "I was just thinking in the break, when we used to have our studios down on the Southbank, the view was a real view.
"We make no bones now that these are screens. We have control over these screens, we have seasons that we recorded when we were there.
"When we were there we recorded all of the seasons. We’ve even got snow."
He added: "But I’ve just asked the team. It’s winter time out there now.
"From now on, from this day forward, every day outside that window, until we come through this, is going to be summer."
Holly said: "I mean instantly, doesn't that make you feel better somehow? Just that bit of greenery."
Phil added: "It’s summer out of the window."
Holly continued: "If you’re self-isolating, you’re in a flat and you haven't got access to open space, you can use our window, look at all that. Beautiful!"
Phil concluded: "We’ll transmit our window to your house."
This Morning airs from 10am until 12.30pm on ITV.
