This Morning parents say they may 'sell house' to fund daughter's cancer treatment

This Morning saw emotional scenes during today's show as parents Lois and Craig shared their heartbreak over their seven-year-old's cancer battle.

Edie was diagnosed with DIPG - diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma - a rare form of cancer that affects around 20 to 30 people in the UK every year.

And Lois and Craig have looked into possible treatments, including an expensive possible option in the States.

Chatting to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, dad Craig said: "It's really difficult to watch the most precious thing in your life go through this."

Later he added: "We're going to keep putting one foot in front of the other and move forward with it.

Eamonn and Ruth brought in medical expert Dr Ranj Singh.

"DIPG's extremely difficult to treat," he remarked, "It's very rare and affects around 20-30 in the UK each year.
