This Morning has provided an update on when Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield will return to host the show
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have been presenting the daytime programme over the summer while the usual team enjoy a break from anchoring duties..
But, after seven weeks away, ITV have announced that Holly and Phil will make their awaited return to front the show on 6th September.

The TV network also confirmed it will be Eamonn and Ruth's final week of presenting the programme - as the show is set to welcome an all new line-up next week.
Alison Hammond teased her return on Instagram and she will team up with Rochelle Humes for the This Morning episodes airing on Monday and Friday. Alison’s regular co-host Dermot O’Leary will also present parts of the show live from Manchester on September 3.
From Tuesday - Thursday, there will be a brand new host as Vernon Kay will present the show for the very first time.
The 47-year-old spoke about how he is excited to get started on ITV's flagship daytime programme.
Vernon said: “This Morning is the daytime go to show, so to be asked to guest host on a show I’ve watched since its inception is a huge tick for me. I’m really looking forward to working with Rochelle and sitting on that famous sofa.”
Speaking ahead of her guest hosting stint, Rochelle said, “I’m so looking forward to hosting with the wonderful Alison Hammond again. I also can’t wait to welcome Vernon Kay into the This Morning family!”
